Duncan MacLeod, President and Co-Founder of PIE, was a guest panelist at the 2019 uLead conference in Banff, Alberta. He participated in a session on PIE's recent work building bridges for education and exchange, particularly in the area of establishing strong student and teacher international learning partnerships between schools in Guangdong and Alberta. The sessions highlighted the value of the shared experiences that students, teachers and administrators can engage to enhance learning and teaching despite language and cultural barriers.
While at the conference, Duncan MacLeod also represented PIE at the historic sister-school signing ceremony between No. 2 High School from Guangzhou, China and Lacombe Composite High School from Lacombe, Alberta, the first such ceremony to take place in Canada.
Congratulations to Wolf Creek Public Schools (WCPS) on this historic achievement!
